Problem :
ONE37pm and its sports verticals, Proper Football and BallPlayers, were missing a massive opportunity. Without a dedicated sports graphic designer, they were consistently late to the most significant moments in football. Their posts lacked the visual punch and real-time energy needed to stand out in a hyper-competitive sports media landscape. The brand needed to move fast, look sharp, and make noise, but they didn’t have the system or the design firepower in place.
Solution :
As a Digital Sports Designer, I stepped in to elevate their game. I created scroll-stopping visuals in Photoshop and Illustrator for breaking moments in football, all designed to be fast, bold, and on-brand—one of the most iconic: a graphic celebrating Messi scoring against 100 different clubs. The post exploded: 450K+ likes, 2.5M+ total engagements, and 100K+ new followers, becoming the most successful post in ProperFootball’s history.
This wasn’t a one-off. I helped build a repeatable visual strategy across accounts that made ONE37pm instantly recognizable in the sports design space, timely, branded, and undeniably eye-catching.
Challenge :
Speed was the name of the game. Big moments happen fast, and fans expect instant content. I had to create high-quality graphics in real time while maintaining visual consistency and brand identity across multiple accounts. The Messi post needed to be not only fast and accurate, but emotionally powerful enough to stand out in a sea of sports content. Every detail mattered.
